Gwyneth Paltrow along with these ladies are proving that lace is a great way to show off your figure, without showing too much.

resort 09 - our picks part II

Helmut Lang
He's definitely a favourite of ours - minimalism at its best. What we love most is his highly simplistic silhouettes, fabrics and colours. We would love to get our hands on that black fur jacket and those sandals.

Vera Wang

There's something about her that always draws us in - these four looks just about sum it up: very feminine, effortless cool .

Jenni Kayne

Seeing those heels again just makes us melt.

resort 09 - our picks part I

Alexander Wang
We can't get enough. His work always feels relevant to us. Those shoes harden every outfit perfectly.

Chanel
These are our favourite 3 looks. We love how each seems very different stylistically, but would totally see the same girl wearing all of them.

Burberry
Socks and sandals plus the skinny belted cardigan seems to work every time!

rosettes for all

Girly girls are made for rosettes, but place them on a mini, add a leather jacket, or some torn up tights, and even the most badass can work them into everyday.

model behaviour

Yes, the Givenchy chains again, we know. We took a liking to model Mariacarla Boscono after seeing Scott Schuman's model-street-style shoot for French Vogue. Out of all the portraits, she, without question, drew us in the most. The lighting is beautiful, not to mention her very well styled all-black look (well almost all black). That voluminous fur/feather cover contrasted with a long and slim dark leg creates an amazing silhouette. We also give her points for rocking the Givenchy studded jacket.

if only it were real...

Here is the start of our homemade Givenchy necklace of our dreams. Still looking for charms to dangle off, and perhaps some more chain. Unfortunately wearing it in the real world we get more Mr. T references then anything else, but perhaps that should just to be expected, living life in the suburbs.
