Fuzzy Coverings

So ever since that sneak peek of the Olsen's line, Elizabeth and James, whowhatwear gave us last week, we've been caught up with the "plume vest" - shown above, top right. The cut and texture is perfect and we're dying to get a hold of something like it. Anyhoo, we felt like showing you guys some good looks which have this great winter to spring transition piece. We love the heaviness that a long dress or skirt paired with a textured vest creates - like in Jenni Kayne's fall '08 look or the girl in all-white photographed by Scott Schuman (both above). Very free-spirited, which we love. You can also take a no-fuss approach to the vest, like Ashley Olsen (corner) or the woman on the far left. Either way, play around and take advantage while we're still experiencing this unusually cold concept of spring.
