Lou Doillon
So the two lovely ladies above are the daughters of English singer Jane Birkin; Charlotte is the daughter of Jane and Serge Gainsbourg - can you see the resemblance? These two girls most definitely know how to take cues from their mom but still remain unique and distinct from each other (sometimes the trouble with sisters *cough). Lou has that underground, messy-but-chic look, whereas Charlotte's style is much more classic, but still edgy. Doillon's look consists of menswear jackets and blazers, stale rouge lipstick and long messy hair - which is always underneath an almost-falling-off-her-head top hat, fedora, conductor's hat or any other chic vintage head-covering she can find. Charlotte sticks to clean lines. Slim jeans or pants with an exaggerated chunky shoe always does the trick. She pairs bohemianesque dresses with hard-edge black heels for a strong contrast and like Poésy (below), wears cowboy-style ankle boots under her jeans for day-to-day chic.
